Style: The Yellow & Stone Parka Coat

The day before the Madrid Fashion Week in February I popped up into Yellow&Stone store to pick up some pieces to round out my wardrobe for the new season.  I'm good at putting together my outfits in advance, there is no fail,  and every season sees me running around Serrano and Velázquez streets the days before the spring throwing and chosing clothes, and hoping that I'll find several great looks for the coming season.

My absolute find this time around was this parka coat:

Magenta Culture

Generally I think parkas looks abysmal on 99% of the population,-unless you happen to be very tall and very thin but the non unstructured and outlined nature of the coat means it hangs beautifully. It's a parka coat. Sometimes I think that finding anything in the style is like a fashion impossible mission-they're so rare that you think it doesn't exist.
I ended up wearing it with my pair of jeans or over my black leggings with a simple black T- shirt that I'm wearing here.
It also looks excellent with my pair of Tod's or  my with white trainers that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
