Home: The grey Towel Revolution

Magenta Culture
(yes, this is my bathroom).

Please tell me that I am not the one who manages, however throughly I clean my face day and night, to still get smears of lipstick, or traces of make up on my formerly white towels? And let's not even start with fake tan marks.

And whilst i'm up on the all the trick for stain removal- soak in Napisan, not bleach which gives a yellow cast, and always add a colour catcher sheet to your white wash, my towels inevitably starts to look a bit meh.

It doesn't help that my Madrid apartment has no room for a tumble dryer so it's impossible for me to get that lovely hotel fluffiness. (I'd never thought I 'd miss the Paris fluff'n'fold laundrettes, but there's a lot to be said for someone else washing you households linens).

So I have introduced a solution: I've temporarily stored the beautiful white towels, and switched to grey towels from El Corte Inglés. (Who knew that El Corte Inglés sold grey towels too?)

So I have invested in an entire set of towels from El Corte Inglés. I found mine at Goya store, at blancolor outlet and I'm thrilled.

I think I had always thought a bathroom needed white towels to look stylish, but as you can see from my photo taken in my bathroom above, I think the grey looks fantastic.
