Fashion: Mimoki. Hats to hire for weddings and anywhere else you may need to go....

Hats do seem to bored women quite a lot: what kind of hat to wear forms a large part of my mailbox conversations from about May onwards. I know that hats can become quite an expense, even if you invest in a lower range.

So let me introduce to the brilliance that Mimoki is. Their raison d'être is to hire excellent hats at an affordable price. Usually I am a bit sceptical of hat hire places: they seem specialized in the kind of creations more usually seen on hyacinth bouquets-ish mothers of the brides, and most hat hire services don't showcase their collections online.

Fear not: the lovely designers and girls of Mimoki have a vast collection of hats, nearly of all of whose collection I have worn in the past,  and every available hat is shown in technicolor on their website and shop.

You can pick up hats from their studio in Madrid and return them. If you are hiring for a wedding or other occasion, you have the hat for the weekend.

On the day I called from the car on approach to a wedding and met my sister near the entrance. (She was easily identified by her large hat box). I tried a few on, and that was it,: I had a loan of a splendid hat at top by Mimoki for the weekend.

If I hadn't forget to remove it in my rush, I could simply have returned the hat at the end of the weekend off the day of the wedding.
