Cafés La Mexicana, Preciados.

If I have to pick my favourite coffee I think Cafés La Mexicana would be up there. From Antigua Las Nubes (Guatemala) to Moca (Etiopia), I love it all and it's one of things I missed with a deep and desperate yearning when I moved from Madrid to Paris.

Thankfully in the intervening few years Cafés at every price level have appeared throughout Madrid. Starbucks made the move across the Atlantic, Mallorca have opened a slew new outlets, this week alone I've noticed Wanda Café on Castellana Street.

I'm also excited for Cappuccino Grand café, Magasand, Frida and El perro y la galleta.

Meanwhile back on my home, is Cafés la Mexicana in Puerta del Sol. It's been open for many years I think, and I buy the coffee for my steel cafetiere at least a couple of times a month, enjoying his location atmosphere (it's always packed) and excellent coffee.

I love that they serve coffee (not sure about tea)-which Mum introduced me to.
A few weeks back I took 70% nature 30% roasted (mezcla media, medium mezclum). This morning I have taken decaffeinated coffee (the same 70%nature 30% roasted). I have embarked upon projects, as I get asked for some personal style posts, so I spent days  putting together looks, both from my wardrobe and with the help of some retailers, and then shooting them. Its hard work, so I break up my face with excellent coffee.

I have quite a thing for travel mugs. I also recommend italian Bialetti cafetiere Espresso maker (kettle).

There's no roadside access to Cafés La Mexicana Preciados. You can park at Sevilla (Circulo de Bellas Artes) and walk for ten minutes up to Plaza de Callao.
