If a Madrilian thinks about a shopping destination, I think it is fair to say that over the past years Serrano and their surroundings streets are one of their first choice.

Too many high street stores and boutiques are located there. Serrano is definitely for tourists  and out-of-towners.

Then, something has happened. Serrano has undergone somewhat of a renaissance! and it's not the largest Apple store anchoring one corner of the Plaza, (we are not in Plaza del Sol), not Mallorca tea room for macarons at the opposite, or Liu Jo store recently open, or that there's a Sandro shop, or Restaurant el Paragüas is on Jorge Juan near there,  but there's a feeling that Claudio Coello and Serrano streets are relevant with a wide span of interesting shops and understanding that you easily accomplish all your shopping & eating  requirements in this area.

And there's nothing than Chanel pop-up beauty store to make that feeling hard to reality. 

Opening the 05th May, guessing that after a very successful opening party, I've got to check it out properly: it will stock all of Chanel signature scents, highly effective skincare, and brilliant colour cosmetics -including all the limited edition and cult products for which Chanel is known. There will be makeovers stations from expert Chanel artists. 

The Chanel Claudio Coello popup shop will be open until the end of year.
